Fluidized beds are used for processing of most types of powdered products. Fluidized bed processes include drying, agglomeration, spray coating, cooling, dedusting/ Air cleaning.

Fluidized bed dryers are designed for enhanced heat transfer coefficient due to effective air to product contact. This ensures quick drying of the product and can avoid the product degradation. Processing can be performed in single stage or multiple stage. Granules and powders are being Fluidize on the Bed of sand/ quartz using pneumatic energy. This enhances the heat transfer by convection/ conduction and immediate drying takes place.
