CHEM Horizontal Evaporators require less space and ceiling height and are relatively cheap and easy to install as they can be delivered fully assembled on a skid. They are suitable for liquids that do not crystallize and give good heat transfer and can be used on either a batch or continuous basis, but are not suitable for viscous liquids since the liquor circulation is poor.

Horizontal Tube Evaporators are mainly used for liquid waste concentration but can also be used economically for the concentration of process solutions in the food and the chemical industries especially when low evaporation temperature are required (<30°C) and / or when the evaporation rate remains lower than 10 t/h.

Chem Multiple Effect Horizontal Evaporation Plants are available with both Thermal Vapour Recompressors, TVR and Mechanical Vapour Recompressors, MVR.
