Vacuum Applications

Condenser Exhausting

Multi stage vacuum systems are used to remove the air and other non-condensable gases from the steam space of power plant condensers. The purpose of removing these gases is to maintain the lowest possible turbine backpressure.

Chem Process supplies Multi Stage Vacuum Systems for the exhausting of power plant condensers.

Condenser Initial Evacuation (Hogging)

While starting a thermal power plant, the condenser must be brought down from atmospheric pressure to vacuum. In some systems requirements prevent the use of the condenser exhauster to perform this job and a separate vacuum device is used.

Heat Recovery

Chem Process supplies highly efficient steam jet ejectors and liquid jet ejectors in the power plants, lowering energy consumption by optimising heat recovery in power stations.
